About Westware:

It's funny to speak in terms of "we" as a business because in reality, this is just one person (me, Allison) running a tiny business out of her home. As a business, "We" believe in full transparency, and intend to bring that to the table each and every day. Westware is a one-person operation with Allison being the only "employee". She lives in the beautiful state of Ohio and has a small desk in the basement that she calls her office. (Though a lot of times she can be caught working on the couch with her laptop and dog in her lap). She works with manufacturers and warehouses worldwide to hold and ship items for her. (Because there really isn't enough room in her home to hold everything). All of the pieces are carefully curated and vetted. Rest assured, we intend to make sure you feel cared for each and every day.

About the owner:

HELLO! and welcome. My name is Allison and I am the owner of Westware. Where do I begin? Not to be dramatic but It all started when I was born... Okay not really but I was very interested in fashion from an early age. I would try and think of new ways to make materials and upcycle thrift store garments. It was a whole thing. The problem was, I had no idea where to go with it or how to make a feasible business plan. So I went to college for graphic design and had a minor in consumer marketing. Okay great. After graduation, I got a job like any normal grad is hoping to do (especially if you graduate with an art related degree). After working for a couple years, a global pandemic hit and I was stuck quarantined inside like literally the entire world. It was great for a few weeks. Working from home, eating snacks in bed all day, not speaking to anyone. When suddenly it hit me, I was being a real POS. So I decided to do a little research on how to make my childhood dream come true and BAM here we are. That's what happens when you have an unfulfilled dream and too much time on your hands I guess. Anyway, I created Westware for the unapologetically unique. So I hope you feel at home here. I'll be posting some stuff on instagram (@west.ware) that might be helpful to you. In the meantime, have a look around the shop and I hope you find some looks that make you feel like the realest version of yourself. Cheers!
